VS Code + Operio
Add Operio's hosted MCP server to VS Code and agent mode can write end-to-end tests, run them against your app and explain what failed.
- Connection
- Hosted MCP with OAuth
- Access
- Read, or read and write
- Config
- .vscode/mcp.json
What your agent can do
Write it, run it, read the result
- 01
Write tests
Ask for a test of the feature it just built. The agent creates the test case in plain English in your Operio project.
- 02
Run them
Start a test, a suite or an exploratory run against an environment or a mobile build, then wait for it to finish.
- 03
Read the evidence
Pull the failed steps and failure reasons back into the session, fix the code, and run the test again.
Setup
Set up VS Code in minutes
- 1
Open the Command Palette, choose MCP: Add Server…, pick HTTP and enter https://api.operio.run/mcp.
- 2
Or create .vscode/mcp.json with a top-level servers key.
- 3
Approve access in the browser, then ask the agent to test your change.
FAQ
VS Code questions
